Your first mission starts here

Never played airsoft? No problem. Here’s exactly what happens when you visit Warfare — from the waiver to your first game.

What happens when you arrive

How a visit works

  1. Sign the waiver

Complete the online waiver before you arrive. Minors need a parent or guardian to sign.

Open waiver (opens WaiverElectronic in a new tab)

  2. Grab admission

No reservation needed for open play. Buy admission online through Square, and add a rental kit if you need gear.

    See pricing

  3. Check in & gear up

Staff check you in and set you up. Bringing your own replica? It gets chronographed by staff before it enters the arena.

  4. Safety brief

Listen to the safety brief and the game-mode rules. Eye protection goes on and stays on inside the arena.

    Read the rules

  5. Enter the arena

Staff assign your team lightband and run the games. Call your hits, play fair, and have fun.

What to wear & bring

  • Closed-toe shoes

Required. No open-toed shoes, Crocs or similar footwear.

You’ll be crouching, moving and taking cover. Blatantly inappropriate clothing, accessories or patches aren’t allowed.

  • Eye protection

Full-seal, ANSI Z87.1-rated eye protection is mandatory. Rental kits include a mask; players 17 and under need full, hardened face protection.

  • Your own gear (optional)

Bringing a replica? Keep it in a bag or case until you’re inside — even in the parking lot. Staff chronograph it before play.

Safety first

The essentials

A quick summary for newcomers. Every player is responsible for knowing the full field rules.

  • Full-seal, ANSI Z87.1-rated eye protection is mandatory and stays on inside the arena. No mesh eye protection.
  • Players 17 and under must wear full, hardened face protection.
  • Closed-toe shoes only — no open-toed shoes or Crocs.
  • Replicas stay in a bag or case outside the arena, including the parking lot. No real steel of any kind.
  • Call your hits, follow staff instructions, and know the “Blind Man” stop call.

“Blind Man” means stop immediately: stay still, repeat “Blind Man” twice and put your safety on. It’s called when someone loses eye protection or there’s a real emergency.

Questions

Beginner FAQ

Still unsure? Call us — we’re happy to walk you through your first visit.

I’ve never played airsoft. Is Warfare a good place to start?

Yes. The arena is built for every skill level, from first-time recruits to experienced squads. Staff explain the safety rules and every game mode before play, and a rental kit gives you everything you need.

Do I need a reservation?

Not for regular play during open hours — Standard Admission grants all-day access with no reservation needed. Birthday parties and private events are booked separately.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes. Please complete the online waiver before your visit so check-in is quick. Minors need a parent or guardian to sign.

Is there a minimum age?

Please call us to confirm age requirements before your visit. Players 17 and under must wear full, hardened face protection in the arena.

What should I wear?

Closed-toe shoes are required — no open-toed shoes, Crocs or similar footwear. Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. Blatantly inappropriate clothing, accessories or patches aren’t allowed.

What eye protection do I need?

Full-seal, ANSI Z87.1-rated eye protection is mandatory and must stay on inside the arena at all times. Mesh eye protection is not allowed as primary protection. Rental kits include a mask.

Can I bring my own airsoft replica?

Yes, if it meets the field rules: 1.20 joule limit, 25 rounds per second maximum, .20g–.28g BBs, a working safety, and no full auto, burst or binary triggers. Staff chronograph every replica before it enters the arena, and replicas must stay in a bag or case outside the building — including the parking lot.

What comes in a rental kit?

A standard rental includes a gun, magazine, mask, battery and 1,000 BBs, for 4 hours or all day. Current rates are on the Pricing page.
